Overview:
Edmonton Granite Memorials Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled Installer / Labourer to join our team. This position is essential to our commitment to providing quality craftsmanship as we create and install memorials. Our Installer / Labourer will be involved in a range of tasks from precise shop work to the installation of monuments in cemeteries across Edmonton and surrounding area. This role requires a combination of physical labor, and attention to detail, ensuring that each monument meets our high standards of excellence.
The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of our products to our customers, is eager to contribute to a respectful and supportive work environment, and is dependable.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Duties:
- Cleaning and crating monuments
- Utilize equipment such as cranes to move monuments
- Move inventory using equipment or hand cart
Installation Duties:
- Work on-site to accurately position and secure monuments
- Complete on-site monument maintenance work.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the operations team to maintain quality and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
Ability to handle physical labour
Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment safely
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
