We are a leading [Commercial / Residential / Industrial] mechanical contracting company known for delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service. We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Project Manager to oversee our upcoming pipeline of projects. In this role, you will be the central hub connecting our clients, field superintendents, and leadership team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Project Execution: Lead plumbing projects from initial handover through closeout, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, and local plumbing codes.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets, track labor costs, oversee material procurement, and handle change orders efficiently.
- Scheduling: Develop and maintain master project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and coordinating seamlessly with general contractors.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with Project Superintendents and Foremen to allocate manpower, resolve field issues, and maintain a culture of safety.
- Vendor & Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum of [3–5] years of experience as a Project Manager specifically within the plumbing or mechanical contracting industry.
- Field Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, hydronics, medical gas, or drainage systems (depending on your specific focus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) and estimating software.
- Education/Licensing: A Journeyman or Master Plumber license is a massive plus; a degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering is highly valued.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, sharp negotiation skills, and a proven ability to problem-solve under pressure.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
