As the face of our retail store, you will guide customers through their cannabis journey with expert product knowledge, compliance-first service, and a welcoming attitude.
Status Requirement: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
As a condition of employment for our cannabis retail location, the successful candidate must provide a current Criminal Record Check.

Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Welcome customers warmly, assess their needs, and provide clear, accurate guidance on product categories, strain classifications, and terpene profiles.
- Compliance & Safety: Strictly enforce NWT regulatory requirements, including verifying legal age identification, monitoring store display limits, and ensuring safe retail practices.
- Daily Operations: Handle POS transactions efficiently, maintain accurate cash control, balance the till, and support opening/closing procedures.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing secure inventory storage, maintaining high-security display cabinetry, and ensuring the sales floor remains spotlessly clean and compliant.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Age Restriction: Must be 19 years of age or older (NWT regulatory requirement).
- Cannabis Certification: Must possess or be willing to obtain the mandatory NWT cannabis retail worker certification before starting.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and basic math/POS proficiency. Reliable attendance is an absolute must, especially during busy peak hours.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or hospitality is preferred, but not required—we are fully prepared to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn.
