We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and authentic professional to join our dedicated support team. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in working with individuals with developmental disabilities and is passionate about community inclusion, coaching, and long-term impact.
About the Role
You will be supporting a male young adult with autism in a highly individualized, goal-oriented program designed to promote independence, confidence, and an exceptional quality of life.
This position is community-based, with most days spent out and about participating in meaningful and active experiences. Your role will involve both mentorship and practical support, helping him build skills while engaging in activities he genuinely enjoys.
If you enjoy staying active, this could be a great fit — running shoes encouraged! At the same time, flexibility is important, as some days may be quieter and focused on indoor or creative activities.

Schedule & Availability
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Shifts typically between 10:00am–6:00pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm
- 1–2 overnight shifts per month
- Must be able to reliably commute to North Shore
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and diverse behaviors
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a detailed background and police security check
- Willingness to commit to a minimum of one year
- Availability for at least one weekend day, as well as occasional night and overnight shifts
- A genuine interest in coaching, teaching, and long-term mentorship
