Our team and what we'll accomplish together
We're building a data-driven transformation engine across Product, Marketing, and Logistics. As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to unlock insights from complex data, design dashboards that drive strategic decisions, and lead process automation initiatives that deliver measurable efficiency gains. This is also a role with real growth potential—we invest in developing our team members into future leaders and business consultants.
Unlike larger corporate structures, our team moves at startup speed—if you have an idea, we test it within days, not months. You'll work within the broader TELUS supply chain but with the autonomy and pace of a smaller organization.
What you’ll do
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Logistics stakeholders to deeply understand business challenges, strategic priorities, and decision-making needs through discovery workshops and ongoing engagement
Take ownership of business challenges by scoping solutions, engaging stakeholders for input, and defining implementation roadmaps—moving insights from analysis into action across the organization.
Build and maintain dashboards and data views by aggregating data from multiple systems (legacy, Google, Tableau, SQL etc.) and translating it into insights that inform strategy.
Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks, recommending AI-assisted automation solutions, and developing implementation playbooks that drive measurable efficiency gains
Generate strategic business cases and ROI analyses for new initiatives, connecting data insights to business outcomes and executive strategy
Mentor junior analysts while building a portfolio of high-impact projects that position you for senior leadership roles
Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating requirements into solutions and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
Manage transactional system movements and logistics coordination (~30% of your time)
What you bring
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with demonstrated impact in data analysis, dashboarding, and process improvement
Advanced proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Expert-level SQL and data querying skills
Experience with Google Sheets and/or Google Apps Script OR equivalent automation/scripting platforms (essential for modernizing our process-heavy workflows).
Strong project management capabilities with proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated experience with process improvement and automation initiatives
Great-to-haves
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Repair Q, Cynergy) or similar enterprise platforms
Experience with TELUS FueliX or other generative AI platforms
Background in supply chain, logistics, or operations (not required if you have strong analytical fundamentals and the ability to learn domain knowledge quickly)
Salary Range: $70,000-$120,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. We encourage all qualified candidates to apply, even if the posted salary range doesn't match your expectations. We're open to discussing competitive compensation packages tailored to your experience level and expertise. TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
Flexibility to work in-office, virtually or a combination of both
Generous company matched pension and share purchase programs
Opportunity to give back to communities in which we work, live and serve
Career growth and learning & development opportunities to develop your skills
And much more …
