Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing warehouse operations.
This is a permanent position on the afternoon shift. Afternoon shift is Monday to Thursday from 3:00pm to 1:30am (10 hour shift with a 30min unpaid lunch). Remote or WFH is not available for this position.
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management within a fast‑paced distribution center environment. This role supports operational excellence by conducting cycle counts, maintaining ERP accuracy, coordinating stock movements, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure products are available when needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory allocations within the ERP system based on forecasted inbound freight and changing demand requirements.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute inventory reports and key metrics to internal stakeholders.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support timely product availability and efficient workflow.
- Stock replenishment, relocation, and inventory adjustment processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Participate in global community-of-practice initiatives to identify improvement opportunities and share best practices.
- Apply strong judgment in determining corrective actions for stock removal, additions, or root‑cause investigations.
- Lead inspections and quality-related reporting, identifying defects or non‑conformances in accordance with brand-specific guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with management to prioritize projects and provide updates on performance against established KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills & Experience
- Post Secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management or another related field.
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or distribution environments preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong data-entry accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with quality control or inspection processes is an asset.
- Demonstrates strong initiative, excellent multitasking abilities, and proficiency in math and typing skills
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $54,000.00-$57,500.00 per year
