Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Polisher, paint corrector ands PDR tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for restoring the finish and shine of vehicle surfaces, ensuring a high-quality appearance that meets our standards. This role requires experience in PDR ranging from small dents to hail damaged units. We also need any applicant to have extensive knowledge in paint correction. Responsibilities will also include cleaning undercarriages and undercoating frames. This job includes up to 100kms of travel per day.
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment to smooth and shine vehicle surfaces
- Prepare vehicles for polishing by cleaning and masking areas as needed
- Assess surface conditions to determine appropriate polishing techniques and paint correction
- Using PDR techniques to remove any dents on all vehicles
- Travelling to locations to perform paint correction, PDR, polishing
- Follow safety procedures when handling heavy lifting and power tools
- Prepare vehicles for undercoating and applying product appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or touch-ups as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in PDR, Polishing, Paint correction a must
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and finishing processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicles or parts
- Experience with automotive repair processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
