Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting both interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of materials and techniques. The painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying paint to various surfaces in a safe and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including scraping, sanding, and priming
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure that painting equipment is clean and in good working order
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Keep work areas clean and tidy
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a painter
- Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to stand, climb, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
