We are a plastics recycling facility that is currently looking for general labourers/sorters.
We are looking for individuals that are strong, active, and possess a solid work ethic backed up by references.
The primary role is the sorting of plastic recyclables and other general labour duties.
We offer full-time steady day shifts Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week, with health and dental benefits (after 90-day probationary period) and RRSP match, and boot allowances (after 1 year of continual employment).
Requirements:
- Must be physically capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Must be physically capable of bending, lifting in excess of 30lbs, and standing for lengthy periods of time.
- Must be able to provide own reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to speak fluent English.
- Must be able to provide own safety equipment (i.e. steel toe shoes, proper clothing for all weather conditions)
Assets:
- The ability to operate electric/hand tools and other equipment is considered an asset but is not required.
- Valid driver’s license is considered an asset.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Machine operating experience considered an asset.
