Currently hiring for: Delivery Driver Helpers in Clarenville, NL.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with driver to offload and deliver products to customer location in safe and timely manner
- Open back doors for driver as they back into loading doors and assist in other equipment set-up
- Act as an external spotter for drivers during backing-up *at all times*
- Assist in the check off all customer orders at time of delivery
- As required, assist in the completion all paperwork and return to office at days end
- Support drivers with communication to customers as needed always conducting business in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards
- Demonstrate regular attendance
- Communicate with Transportation Supervisor/Manager of any questions/issues/problems endured
- All other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic
- Self-starter and positive attitude
- Steel-toed boots required
- Safety vest required
- Clean certificate of conduct & two work-related references
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Overnight stays with daily meal allowance provided
