Job Overview
We are a growing company seeking a skilled aluminum Welders with TIG and mig experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using various hand tools and machinery. As an aluminum Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on a variety of materials while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum, and other metals to fabricate components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precision in fabrication.
- Operate cranes and rigging equipment safely for material handling during the welding process.
- Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an aluminum Welder or in a similar welding role.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, including plasma cutting.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery related to welding and fabrication.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
