Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in delivering excellent customer experiences through efficient food preparation, attentive service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling duties, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation of food items
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Excellent time management abilities in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
