Job Summary
As the HR Assistant / Receptionist, you will play a dual role crucial to our daily operations. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, educators, and clients, managing our front desk with professionalism and warmth. Simultaneously, you will provide vital administrative support to our Human Resources department, assisting with onboarding, employee records, and day-to-day HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Reception & Front Office Administration (approx. 50%)
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and job candidates with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked reception area and main meeting spaces.
- Assist with ordering office supplies and scheduling meeting rooms.
Human Resources Support (approx. 50%)
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry into our HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, sending confirmation emails, and tracking applicant statuses.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome packets, setting up workstations, and collecting required paperwork.
- Maintain digital and physical employee personnel files with strict confidentiality and compliance.
- Assist in planning and executing company events, staff appreciation programs, and internal culture initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative assistant, or HR support role is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a strong plus.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace. Experience with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a bonus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity.
Pay: $19.00-$27.00 per hour
