We are a growing Vancouver-based psychological practice seeking a Psychologist with a strong interest in assessment work, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments evaluating cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning
- Lead ASD assessments, including administration of ADOS-2 and ADI-R (hands-on training available if needed)
- Prepare clear, thorough psychological reports including diagnostic impressions and recommendations
- Utilize a range of psychometric instruments available within the practice
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a high standard of care and smooth client experience
Compensation:
- This position offers compensation for a percentage of each completed assessment. We pride ourselves on offering very competitive pay, meeting the ongoing market rate, and, based on professional experience and potential, surpassing it by 10%.
Note: While psychotherapy opportunities are available, this role is primarily assessment-focused.
Ideal Candidate:
- Licensed Psychologist (or eligible for licensure in BC)
- Strong experience in psychological assessment and report writing
- Familiarity with cognitive, academic, and diagnostic tools; ASD experience is a strong asset
- Detail-oriented, efficient, and clinically thoughtful
- Collaborative, professional, and committed to high-quality work
- Interested in ongoing skill development and refining assessment expertise
