We are currently in need of a Professional Direct Sales Representative (Account Executive) who is responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead to close, and must have a solid foundation of customer service skills. The right candidate will align with our values and be flexible and diligent. This candidate will be a quick, innovative thinker who easily navigates the sales experience. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, personable and has excellent communication skills that can help increase results. You are a driven, self-motivated sales professional who lives for the chase. Cold calls, creative prospecting, and closing high-value deals are where you shine.
The Account Executive at SONA is an integral role in our organization as we continue to grow as a leader in the Payment Processing Industry. This individual is responsible for exceeding customers’ needs with excellent customer service while selling various technical payment solutions to fit their unique needs. This individual has a strong sense of accountability for the calibre of work outputs and a strong desire to learn. They also are naturally curious and desire to understand the business, and customer needs, and strive to produce the best customer experience possible.
What you’ll be doing:
- Prospecting for new leads with confidence
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and other prospecting methods.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients
-Client Calls and presentations
- Perform Demonstrations for potential customers and teach them how our solutions can help their business.
- Overcome objections with creativity
- Using best active listening and customer service skills, and in a time-sensitive manner, address, troubleshoot, and assist with customer issues and inquiries.
- Proactively learn the ins and outs of the different technologies we provide to merchants.
- Using and maintaining internal sales tools and pipeline management through our CRM system.
- Using best influencing and salesperson skills, diligently work to maintain a healthy closing ratio for inbound sales leads that are directed from management and/or the internal sales team.
- Organizing and following established office procedures, updating and filing essential documents (e.g., proposals, applications, etc.).
- Using best analytical abilities and great attention to detail, accurately complete competitive analysis for prospective clients when and how directed by management.
- Using own vehicle to get to and from merchant sites – to be reimbursed for mileage.
- Attending training and possible networking events from time to time.
What we’ll want you to have:
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working with or without supervision in a fluid business environment.
- Proven success in a hunting-only sales role with demonstrated ability to hit and exceed quotas
- Understand and adhere to our propriety sales procedure for all sales prospects.
- Effective tele-sales and online/in-person presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive environment and to adapt to change easily.
- Additional skills might require a combination of experience working/selling in the payments industry or a background in Accounting or Finance.
Time/Location
Monday – Friday, 9 am-5 pm, In the office at our Bedford HQ
Salary - On Target Earnings in 1st year $60,000. On Target Earnings in 2nd year $85,000
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
