Pay: CA$24.00-CA$29.00 per hour
Job description:
Le Belvedere Weddings and Events is Ottawa/Gatineau's Leading Wedding and Event Space. We are looking for a service cook to lead and manage the food service during our events.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation, working a team of culinary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory levels
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes.
Requirements
- 2-3 years in similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
