Vale Packaging is growing and is currently accepting applications for Machine Operators. With training the candidate will become proficient and be responsible for inspecting quality, packing, and labeling cartons for shipping.
As our Machine Operator you will be responsible to:
- Startup and shutdown thermoforming machines
- Inspect, pack, and label product for shipping
- Record settings and volumes on work order paperwork
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and make minor repairs to equipment
- Perform quality checks
- Keep the work area clean and tidy, assist other Operators as needed
- MAy work nights,evening, or day shifts
Potential applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- Good communication skills
- Experience in an fast paced environment an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Standing for periods of time and lifting up to 40 lbs.
