Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Operate spray guns, power tools, and hand tools to apply paint coatings evenly across different surfaces and shapes
- Set up and calibrate painting equipment, including air compressors and spray systems, to match project requirements
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles
- Inspect finished products for consistency, coverage, and surface defects; perform touch-ups or rework as necessary
- Maintain a clean work area by properly disposing of waste materials and cleaning equipment regularly
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks when required to support overall production flow
Requirements
- Prior experience with spray painting techniques in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations during setup and inspection processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction
- Ability to operate machinery such as cranes, forklifts, or machining tools safely and effectively
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to painting, welding, and mechanical work
- Basic understanding of assembly processes and use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
