Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced painter to join our team, specializing in both residential and commercial projects. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming prior to painting
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools
- Perform restoration work on existing surfaces to improve appearance and durability
- Operate carpentry tools as needed for minor repairs or modifications before painting
- Manage time effectively to complete projects within designated schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial painting
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and other relevant equipment
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to rigging and working at heights
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Background in carpentry or construction is desirable but not mandatory
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward clients and colleagues
