We’re looking for an experienced 313A Journeyman Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic who wants more than just another job. What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
- Install and service:
- Heat Pumps
- Air Conditioners
- Furnaces
- Boilers
- HRVs
- Water Heaters
- Tankless Water Heaters
- Mini Split Systems
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration issues
- Clearly explain repairs and recommendations to customers
- Complete digital work orders and documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle
- Participate in an on-call rotation (shared fairly among technicians)
Qualifications
Required
- Ontario 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic License
- G2 Gas Technician License (G1 considered an asset)
- ODP Certification
- Valid G Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets
- Sheet metal experience
- Hydronic heating experience
- Mitsubishi, Daikin, Lennox or Carrier experience
- Experience with heat pumps and inverter systems
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
