ONE CARE Home & Community Support Services is a community based, charitable, Not-For-Profit health organization providing supportive care to families in Huron and Perth Counties as well as the surrounding area.
This Role is a Full Time 1 Year Contract.
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Human Resources Supervisor the Human Resources Assistant will undertake a variety of administrative tasks in the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Compile and record reports for internal health & safety tracking; monitoring of the HR mailbox; HRIS system updates and data entry; assist in the administration of the online Dunk training program; administration with letters and assisting in tracking documentation. The Human Resources Assistant may also provide administrativesupport for Recruitment, including monitoring the recruitment mailbox, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and references checks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or certificate in Human Resources program, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of related legislation such as Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety, etc.
- 1-2 years’ work experience in a human resources capacity is preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems, data entry, and report generation would be considered an asset
- Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and other related software applications
- Demonstrated problem solving, time management and research skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance
