As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and committed Immigration Consultant to join our team in Windsor, Ontario.
Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable, reliable, and client-focused Immigration Consultant with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Canadian immigration services, consulting, or case management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing client circumstances, providing immigration guidance, preparing and reviewing applications, managing documentation, and supporting clients throughout the immigration process.
This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, pays close attention to detail, and is committed to providing professional and ethical immigration services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations and assess eligibility for Canadian immigration programs and pathways.
- Provide clear, accurate, ethical, and practical immigration guidance based on individual client circumstances.
- Prepare, review, and manage immigration applications, including:
- Permanent residence
- Family sponsorship
- Work permits
- Study permits
- Visitor visas
- Super visas
- Business and entrepreneurial immigration
- Citizenship applications
- Review application forms and supporting documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify potential issues, risks, or gaps in applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Manage client files from initial assessment through preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide timely and professional case updates.
- Assist with previous refusals, application reviews, and complex immigration matters where applicable.
- Stay informed about changes to Canadian immigration laws, regulations, policies, programs, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate client records, case notes, documentation, and deadlines.
- Collaborate with case processing staff, administrative team members, and management.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Canadian immigration services, immigration consulting, or immigration case management.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Experience working with multiple immigration categories and application types.
- RCIC licence or other recognized immigration practitioner credential is strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to assess client circumstances and identify appropriate immigration pathways.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and document accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Strong client-service skills with empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
- High level of professional integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital documentation systems, and case management software.
