Key-oh Lodge Limited Partnership is hiring two Lead Cooks to help drive consistency, quality, and leadership in our busy hotel kitchen.
If you’re a strong line cook who naturally leads, keeps standards high, and takes pride in running a tight shift, we want to talk.
This is not a “just cook your station” role. This is a leadership position for someone who can think ahead, manage prep levels, control waste, and keep a team focused during high-volume service and catering events.

Key-oh Lodge operates a full-service hotel, restaurant, pub, and event centre. We serve hotel guests, local customers, and large-scale catering and event functions.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Leading kitchen shifts with professionalism and composure
- Supporting catering and event menu execution
- Assisting with menu planning and production coordination
- Monitoring prep levels to reduce waste
- Tracking yield and portion control
- Participating in inventory counts
- Assisting with ordering and cost control
- Maintaining food quality and plating standards
- Completing temperature logs and sanitation records
- Coaching and supporting cooks and prep staff
- Maintaining a respectful, professional kitchen culture
You will work closely with the Culinary Manager and Operations Manager and may assume additional operational responsibility during management vacancies.
Schedule Options:
We are open to flexible structures for the right candidate, including:
- Rotational work (e.g., 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
- Full-time standard scheduling
For rotational candidates, lodging can be provided during onsite work periods.
If you live outside the immediate area and are looking for a structured rotational opportunity, we are willing to consider creative scheduling.
Compensation
- $24 – $26 per hour (based on experience)

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years high-volume cooking experience
- At least 1 year in a lead or supervisory kitchen role
- Experience with inventory and ordering
- FoodSafe Certification (required)
- Experience with TouchBistro POS (preferred)
- Red Seal (preferred but not required)
