Sentry Health Inc. Canada is expanding our health acceleration centres and we are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and proficient clinical assistant to join our growing team in Woodbridge, ON.
This role is integral to our family practice operations, where you will interact directly with patients, assist with triage, and coordinate complex healthcare needs with direct supervision and delegation from on-site physicians.
This is a fast-paced and demanding environment suited for a professional who thrives on independence, flexibility, and high-quality patient care across Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Geriatrics. On-site training will be provided upon the hiring process.
Description:
1. Title: Clinical Assistant (On-site)
2. Hours: 37.5 hours per week full time
3. Practice: Family Practice integrated with Internal Medicine/Cardiology/Geriatrics
4. Location: Woodbridge, ON
Key Qualifications:
- Education: We are specifically looking for internationally trained physicians/IMGs (International Medical Graduates based in Ontario) who have completed MCC licensing examinations (NAC-OSCE & MCCQE1), optional - TDM & LMCC.
- Experience: Previous clinical assistant roles and clinical experience in a Canadian healthcare setting are considered strong assets and will be preferred applicants, previous experience with OSCAR EMR
- Traits: You are conversant, proficient, tech-savvy and capable of working effectively in an independent, swift-paced environment, with efficient computer skills and proficient with the use of AI scribes.
Compensation
- $20-22/hour
- Paid time off (10 vacation days earned per calendar year worked)
