Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team, providing essential maintenance, repair, and installation services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various related trades to ensure optimal operation of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage or refrigerant line connections.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for repairs or custom fabrication of components.
- Work with boilers and mechanical systems as part of comprehensive building maintenance.
- Repair appliances and assist with construction or renovation projects involving HVAC components.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding system status and recommendations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge with a background in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair preferred.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with mechanical aptitude.
- Construction or mechanic experience is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Valid certification or licensing in HVAC or related trades is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
