Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrician with a minimum of three years to master-level expertise to join our team. This role with function primarily as a service electrician. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and safety standards, ensuring the efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in industrial or construction environments, adhering to all safety protocols and electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute complex wiring and circuitry tasks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installations and repairs efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage circuits when necessary, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in planning electrical layouts for new installations or upgrades based on project specifications.
- Conduct inspections of electrical components to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
Skills
- Proven industrial electrician experience with at least three years.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment used in electrical work.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems alongside standard electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building codes and installation procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations applicable to industrial or construction environments.
