Position Title: Forklift Operator
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Work Location: 7510 Bren Road, Mississauga, L4T 4H1
Shift / Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to safely move and organize electronic waste materials, including palletized, baled, and bulk items. The role involves operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and supporting general warehouse and production tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently move palletized, baled, and bulk electronic waste (e.g., TVs, monitors, computers) using forklifts, electric, and manual pallet jacks.
- Load and unload materials into trucks, bins, and intercompany trailers.
- Organize materials in designated warehouse and plant locations.
- Label and track inventory, including baler materials, gaylords, and bags.
- Safely handle hazardous materials (e.g., toner cartridges, batteries) following WHMIS and company protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklift equipment (e.g., greasing, oil checks).
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety, security, and PPE compliance.
- Support other warehouses and production areas as needed.
- Train on equipment such as Bob-Cat, Genie Boom, Dry Sweeper, and Wet Sweeper to enhance operational support.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Valid forklift certification with 5 years of safe operating experience.
- Experience with electric pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and repetitive movement.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/plant environment and following PPE requirements.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety, WHMIS, and hazardous material handling is an asset.
- Flexible with shifts and able to adjust to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
