Position Overview
Murray Chevrolet Cadillac is looking for an enthusiastic and articulate individual to join our Service Department as our Service Concierge. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our customer service efforts, handling inbound inquiries, scheduling appointments, proactively reaching out to recommend vehicle maintenance services, processing internal service orders, and communicating effectively with all departments within our dealership.
No automotive background required — we’ll train the right person on the industry side. What matters most is your ability to connect with people and keep things organized.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience: Demonstrate a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
- Customer Interaction: Answer inbound customer inquiries with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, providing information on service offerings and addressing customer concerns effectively.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently book and manage service appointments, optimizing the scheduling process to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service flow.
- Outbound Communication: Initiate outbound calls to recommend and schedule vehicle maintenance services based on customer history and manufacturer recommendations.
- Multi-Tasking: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Computer Proficiency: Utilize strong computer skills to navigate scheduling software, databases, and communication tools effectively.
- Continuous Learning: Bring curiosity and a willingness to build product and service knowledge over time — we provide the training.
Qualifications
- Friendly and inviting attitude, with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, warm, and professional communication style, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with relevant software and tools.
- Experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, healthcare, call centers) is highly valued.
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset, but not required.
- Dealer Management System (PBS) knowledge is considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent — we welcome candidates re-entering the workforce or making a career change.
