ENC Testing has a career opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Coordinator in the office located in Sherwood Park.
Position Description:
- We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, senior administration, office management, or operations support. Experience within an engineering, construction, or consulting environment is considered an asset.
- Success in this role requires exceptional organization, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
Position Duties:
- Effectively communicate with ENC and SE Design clients and management
- Scheduling of Materials Testing Technicians for projects managed by ENC and SE Design
- Review field materials testing results, prepare final copy reports for approval, distribute results to clients, and maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy project files.
- Work towards established business goals
- Working with the GSM following MacroCore drilling, preparation of testhole logs during classification and then logging testhole data in gINT software
- Coordinate with GSM and Senior Geotechnical Engineer to ensure geotechnical report process from drilling, logs, materials testing results are updated on gINT logs and in geotechnical directory for Engineer reference
- Coordinate the emailing of the final Geotechnical Investigation report to the client along with the project invoice
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in business administration, office management, project coordination, or a related field is considered an asset
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, senior administration, office management, or operations support
- 1-3 years of industry experience in geotechnical and or material testing is considered an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to identify discrepancies, maintain highly accurate records, produce error-free documentation, and consistently follow established procedures
- Strong proofreading, data entry, and document management skills with a commitment to producing error-free work
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability with the ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion
- Excellent communication skills, including teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with strong organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task effectively and proactively attend to time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing demands, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively resolve issues
- Flexible, well organized, able to carry out assignments with minimal supervision

- Working knowledge of Geotechnical software applications (gINT or other testhole logging software) is considered an asset
- Experience working in Factor A/E and is considered an asset
- Ability to work extended hours (overtime) during construction season including weekends
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
