Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team in <LOCATION>. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods to support our mission of safety and preparedness.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to locate, relocate, stack, and count stock efficiently.
- Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management using warehouse management systems.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Support order picking and packing processes to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflows.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts and order pickers.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and record-keeping.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
