Job Description – Centre Manager
Reporting directly to the Institutional Director, the Centre Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of the day-to-day functions of the Centre.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an annual strategic plan and budget for the Centre, execute the plan, and deliver monthly progress reports to the Centre Management Board.
- Execute organizational strategies through the Centre to ensure alignment with national objectives.
- Plan and oversee regular programming and special events at the Centre, including the establishment of operational procedures for day-to-day activities.
- Manage all Centre expenditures and revenues, and provide monthly financial reports to the Head Office.
- Coordinate tasks with Centre committees and subcommittees.
- Recruit necessary staff and volunteers by liaising with the Head Office.
- Enforce organization policies and regulations at the Centre.
- Supervise the Imam, other employees, and contractors, conducting annual evaluations and submitting them to the Centre Management Board.
- Represent the Centre in interactions with the community and government entities.
- Maintain official records and ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Office to manage the Centre's website and maintain its online presence across various social media platforms.
- Provide leadership in fundraising efforts, including overseas travel, drafting solicitation letters, organizing events, public speaking engagements, donor engagement, and encouraging fundraising activities.
- Serve as a representative of the Centre in specific cases as delegated by the Centre Management Board.
- Participate in Centre Management Board meetings as a non-voting member.
- Generate reports as requested by the MAC Executive Director.
- Ensure the Centre remains accessible to the public during operating hours.
- Formulate proposals for community programs, collaborate with the Institutions Department Representative on their development, and oversee their execution.
