About the Role
The Operations Manager owns the full product lifecycle: commercial strategy, global implementation, partner management, customer success, and executive reporting. The scope will expand to include additional products and projects as the organization scales.
Hybrid (3-4 days onsite - Downtown Toronto)
Responsibilities
- Own pricing strategy, commercial proposals, and negotiations with regional leads and partners holders
- Track budget vs. actual revenue and report financial performance to the executive team
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of new regions, coordinating Academic, Technical, Finance, and Legal teams from kickoff to go-live
- Manage external partner relationships, contract renewals, and licensing
- Drive customer success: SLA compliance, regional renewals, adoption metrics, and platform usage
- Present weekly to the C-suite on implementation status, financials, risks, and actions needed
- Coordinate book logistics for select regions across domestic and international channels
Required Experience
- Experience in product management, edtech, SaaS, or B2B commercial operations.
- End-to-end implementation or onboarding management with multiple stakeholders.
- Client-facing commercial work: proposals, pricing, negotiation, and contracts.
- Budget management, invoicing, and variance analysis.
- External partner or vendor management.
- Building and presenting reports to senior leadership.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in english is required.
- Strong organization and communication/negociation skills.
- Project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent).
- Customer support platforms (Freshdesk, Zendesk, or equivalent).
- Excel / Google Sheets for financial tracking and reporting.
Nice to Have
- Portuguese or Spanish proficiency is preferred
- SSO or platform administration experience (ClassLink, Clever, or similar)
- Background in the education or franchise industry is a plus
