Property & Estate Assistant / Grounds & Operations Support
We are looking for a capable, proactive and hands-on Property & Estate Assistant to help maintain and support two beautiful properties on a vineyard this summer, with the potential for an ongoing role for the right person.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys staying active, working outdoors, organizing spaces, improving systems, and taking pride in keeping a property running smoothly and looking its best. We are looking for a true do-er — someone who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative without needing constant direction.
About the Role
You will support the day-to-day upkeep, organization and maintenance of two private properties located on a vineyard property. The work is varied, physical, practical and rewarding, with a mix of outdoor maintenance, organization and general property support.
No two days will look exactly the same, and the role is well suited to someone who enjoys variety and independence.
Responsibilities May Include
- Pool and hot tub maintenance
- Lawn and landscape maintenance
- Pulling weeds, planting, watering and spreading compost/mulch
- General yard clean up and seasonal outdoor projects
- Keeping outdoor spaces tidy, functional and visually appealing
- Garbage, recycling and compost management
- Dump runs and errands
- Organizing garages, storage areas and equipment
- Basic handyman and property maintenance tasks
- Assisting with small repairs and troubleshooting
- Helping prepare properties for guests, family or events
- Identifying and taking initiative on tasks that improve the properties overall
