Parkland Tree Care Ltd is currently looking to hire Arborist trainee / Ground workers. Experience is preferred; preference is given to anyone having related experience and interest. All candidates must have a driver’s license and transportation. Parkland Tree Care is a leader in quality tree care in the Winnipeg and surrounding area. Individuals must work well in a team environment.
This position is for full time employment (March-Dec). If you are looking for a summer job please do not apply.
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A desire to work outside in all weather conditions.
- A love for trees.
- They should be someone who is looking for long term employment. You will spend the first part of their employment working as a ground worker and then as they gain experience and demonstrate a desire and aptitude, they will progress to assisting an Arborist who is pruning and climbing trees in addition to ground work duties
- The candidate must be in good physical condition.
- A willingness to work hard in a challenging and rewarding work environment.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Air Brake endorsement on DL is a bonus.
- Ability to back a trailer.
- Mechanical abilities / knowledge.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
