Description:
Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, the Recreational Administrator / Facility Attendant will be responsible for completing a variety of administrative and operational duties and projects from different departments at the Genesis Centre.
Employment Terms & Perks:
- The wage range of $17.00 - $18.00/ hour depending on experience and performance.
- Full Time (Contract): Monday to Friday (9 am – 5 pm) for 8 weeks from the beginning of employment. Hours may be altered based on project needs.

Administration (90%)
Complete a wide variety of administrative duties, including but not limited to:
- Scanning and storing documents
- Organization of digital files
- Data collection and presentation
- Updating documents
- Organization of physical documents
- Shredding
- Creating and conducting community survey
- Other projects as assigned.
Facility Attendant (10%)
- Assisting in the set up and take down of tables, chairs, sporting equipment, and other facility preparation for meetings, sporting or special events.
- Helping in front desk operations.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
- Administrative / customer service experience in a recreation facility is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills, including an intermediary understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English. Multilingualism would be considered an asset.
Conditions under the Canada Summer Jobs grant:
- Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Must be legally entitled to work according to Alberta legislation and regulations
- International students are not eligible
