Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Leasing Agent to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, engaging with prospective tenants, and maintaining positive relationships with current residents. Duties
- Greet prospective tenants and provide detailed information about available properties
- Conduct property tours and answer questions regarding features, amenities, and leasing terms
- Manage leasing applications, including data entry and document filing
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi to track leads, applications, and lease agreements
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Follow up with leads via phone and email to convert inquiries into lease signings
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and leasing activities in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, preparing lease documents, and updating property records
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations during the leasing process
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
Experience
- Prior experience in office administration or property management is preferred
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable
- Strong background in sales, customer service, or negotiation enhances success in this role
- Familiarity with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and phone etiquette is essential
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor are necessary for building positive relationships with tenants and prospects
Pay: $32,918.85-$113,171.14 per year
