We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key point of contact between customers and the service department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales through upselling services.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of repair services and recommendations based on mechanical knowledge.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow within the service department.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely repairs.
- Prepare estimates for repairs, including parts and labor costs, while explaining them clearly to customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all transactions.
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance or safety.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to dealership policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service environment is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to build rapport with clients.
- Sales experience, particularly in upselling services or products, is a plus.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
