Happy at Home Support Services Inc. provides transportation services to medical appointments for clients of the Orillia and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a mature, dependable Volunteer Medical Driver to join our team. This position is a part-time, casual position. Volunteer Medical Drivers are scheduled per client needs and remunerated based on pre-determined rates.
REQUIREMENTS
Currently resides in Orillia (required)
Timely arrival at client private residence
Abide by Ontario's driving laws and demonstrate safe driving skills
Provide door-door assistance for clients with devices
Knowledge of Orillia, Barrie and surrounding areas
Comfortable highway driving to and, around the city of Toronto
Comfortable driving in winter/inclement weather
QUALIFICATIONS
Own personal vehicle with insurance
A Drivers Abstract without convictions*
Two (2) work related references
Cellular phone with unlimited data
Flexible availability Monday-Friday, including early mornings (occasionally a weekend based on client need)
*The successful candidate(s) will be required to provide the Drivers Abstract along with a Vulnerable Sector Check at time of hire.
