Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in carpentry, masonry, electrical work, plumbing, and general construction. This role involves working on diverse projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and hands-on expertise. The <PERSON> will play a vital role in ensuring project quality and safety across various job sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and the use of both hand and power tools are highly preferred. This position offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, and siding installation
- Execute carpentry tasks such as cabinet installation, woodworking, framing, and assembly
- Conduct electrical and plumbing work following safety standards and technical specifications
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques to ensure high-quality results
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to support project requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Extensive experience with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing
- Skilled in carpentry including cabinet installation and woodworking techniques
- Electrical experience including wiring basics; plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform construction estimating and project planning tasks effectively
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site
