As a Drywall Taper at ANG Drywall Inc. , you will play a vital role in ensuring that our construction projects are completed with top-quality drywall finishing. Your expertise in taping, mudding, and sanding drywall surfaces will be essential in delivering a polished, professional appearance to our projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply drywall tape and mud to seams and joints, ensuring smooth and seamless transitions between panels.
- Prepare surfaces for painting or wall covering by applying the appropriate texture.
- Repair imperfections and cracks in drywall to create a flawless surface.
- Sand, buff, and smooth drywall surfaces to achieve the desired finish.
- Work with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and ensure a seamless workflow.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols on the job site.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drywall Taper, with a minimum of 1 years in the role.
- Knowledge of various drywall finishing techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with different textures and patterns in drywall finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency with drywall tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to meet project deadlines.
