Objective
The Shipper/Receiver- will maintain a proper flow of Parts Materials and Deliveries in and out of the parts warehouse and yard, as such your respondsibilities will include:

Duties as described:
Performance of Shipper /Receiver and general duties:
-Be the first line of contact with the delivery drivers and our customers for all shipping and receiving in the yard.
-By carefully loading and unloading and stocking all parts, materials and equipment etc. that is coming or going in the yard.When shipping or receiving materials and equipment etc. that is coming or going from the yard, Confirm quantities and inspect for damaged goods and report the condition of for all items that have been damaged immediately to the parts manager.
Shipper: Based on order specifications, ensure that all products are wrapped and packaged properly to prevent damage during shipping. Notify Parts Manager immediately when pickup and transportation of the order has taken place. Ensure our packing slip has been attached.
Assist with the coordination of carrier pick-up, prepare packing slips, bills of lading and shipping labels
Receiver:Ensure all deliveries are unpacked and stocked and verify the, quantity, quality, and accuracy. Ensure all packing slips and all related paperwork is turned in to the Parts Officeimmediately upon receiving the order so that we can accurately account for all items received
When receiving materials and equipment etc. that is coming into the yard. Inspect for damaged goods and report the condition of for all items that have been damaged immediately to the parts manager. Ensure all packing slips are duly noted for the damages witnessed and they turned in immediately to Parts Office
Performance of The Parts Coordinator:
Responsible for filling parts orders, assist in organizing and maintaining an adequate inventory of parts needed for daily repairs in the shop,
Assists all Parts and Service personnel (retail and shop) in locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
Participate in the organization and re-organization of the parts department by stocking shelves, performing renovations, labeling, marking, coding of parts and supplies in order to improve efficiency and continuity of the parts department
Assist with physical inventory counts as required
Maintain inventory in a clean and organized fashion as directed by the Parts Manager.
Parts warehouse and parts storage areas are to be kept in a clean, neat and organized fashion. Sweeping of floors, garbage removal as required and to maintain a safe work environment.
Performance of the general duties of the Shop and Yard:
Reporting to the Service Manager
Responsible for general clean-up of our shop, yard, lunchroom, general maintenance, deliveries to and from various departments, assist walk in customers as needed, recycling and waste removal along with moving and storage of various items.
1. Assists all personnel (Shop Mechanics) in locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
2. Periodically assist in moving large equipment around in the yard to make room for more to be dropped off.
3. Will be required to assist as a second hand for assembly of equipment.
4. Maintaining the tool inventory and shop supplies to support all shop activities.
5. Maintaining tracking sheets of company issued tools to employees
6. Overseeing the organization and efficient use of the yard. This includes skids belting, screens, parts, components, dunnage, equipment attachments.
7. Opening and locking doors to ensure the companies goods are secure.
Parts Pickup & Delivery-
Will be responsible for the operation of the Parts Truck and utility trailers for parts pick-up and delivery. Must respect and obey the laws of the road. All tickets and violations will be the responsibility of the driver.
Must take a planned route and perform only the duties as described.
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and neat. Ensure all fluids are topped up prior to departure from the shop.
Must have a valid class 5 drivers license. Knowledge of the City of Calgary and surrounding area would be an asset.
Will be responsible for the operation of the forklift loader and skid steer and other material handling devices as required. You will perform daily inspections of this equipment and/or other material handling equipment and complete the maintenance as required to keep it in good operating condition.
Ensure compliance with environmental and occupational safety and health requirements. Maintain adequate security precautions for the facility, fleet, tools and equipment that is under their care.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES.
Must have a clean & valid drivers license, must be able to handle a tow behind trailer.
Forklift certification required.
Must be proficient in identifying materials by dimensions.
Possesses the ability to operate hand tools and power tools
WHMIS certified.

Works well under pressure, as the Yard Manager will be required to respond to the needs of more one supervisor. Multi-tasking will be normal course in a days work.
PHYSICAL REQUIERMENTS
General Physical Skills (Carrying, Lifting –75lbs, standing, sitting, walking, reaching)
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Forklift & Crane certification is required
A Valid Drivers License and knowledge of the City of Calgary
Must have CSA approved safety boots.
Wear Eye protection when requiered
