Experienced Greenskeeper
Duties:
Participate in daily maintenance tasks including:
- Sand trap maintenance and repair
- Mowing of playing surfaces such as greens, tees, fairways and rough.
- Course service (pins, divot repair, minor turf repair)
- Cultural practices
- Construction projects where necessary
- Irrigation repair and maintenance
- Operate heavy equipment as required such as Bobcats, tractors, excavators.
- Assist with training when prompted.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on a golf course, or familiarity with golf course equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work alone or as a team
- Leadership skills and willingness to lead crews
- Heavy equipment experience is an asset
- Readiness to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
Work Schedule
- Full time, 36-40 hours/week.
- Shifts are either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
Compensation & Benefits
- $19 – $22/hour DOE
