Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of cleanliness, providing guests with a welcoming and hygienic environment. This role is vital to delivering exceptional hospitality service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and techniques is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated shifts
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
