We are seeking a Production Team Lead for our clients to oversee daily production operations during the afternoon shift, with flexibility to support day shift operations as needed. This role is responsible for ensuring production meets quality standards, efficiency targets, and company expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will supervise daily production activities and team performance, ensuring smooth workflow, safety compliance, and operational effectiveness. During the afternoon shift, the Supervisor will work independently and will be responsible for securing and closing the facility at the end of the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations within the production department
- Ensure production targets for quality, efficiency, and output are met or exceeded
- Lead, support, and monitor production team performance
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with other departments as needed (quality, maintenance, warehouse)
- Complete production reporting and shift documentation
- Ensure building security and proper shutdown procedures at end of afternoon shift
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work independently during afternoon shift
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts when required
