We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team for a Plumbing heating and hvacR company. Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and gas systems according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during various tasks
- Support carpentry, HVAC, and construction activities as needed to ensure project completion
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and layout work
- Participate in assembly of piping systems, fixtures, and related components
- Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC systems
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, construction, welding, and maintenance tasks
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics reading for installation processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during assembly and troubleshooting tasks
