Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our restaurant’s standards, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items following established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent understanding of the food industry practices and restaurant operations
- Skilled in kitchen techniques, including basic cooking methods and food presentation
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
