Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities but not limited:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with cooking and plating dishes according to recipes and guidelines
- Follow food safety procedures to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
-AGLC/ Liquor license is a bonus but not a must
