Fountainhead Mechanical is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Journeyman Service Plumber to join our high-performing service team in Calgary.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving technical problems, and wants to build a long-term career with a supportive mechanical company.
The successful candidate will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing and hydronic systems. You will work independently in the field while receiving strong support from our office, dispatch, and leadership teams.
Technicians with strong commercial boiler and control experience may qualify for a wage of up to $54.00 per hour, based on their experience and qualifications.

What You Will Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair commercial boiler systems
- Service and maintain hydronic heating systems
- Complete plumbing repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot boilers, pumps, valves, fixtures, piping systems, controls, and related equipment
- Identify system problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions
- Complete accurate service documentation and digital reports
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, dispatch, office staff, and teammates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company procedures
- Represent Fountainhead Mechanical's culture and values on every customer site
Who We Are Looking For
- Alberta Journeyperson Plumber certification or an equivalent recognized trade qualification
- Strong commercial service plumbing experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing plumbing and hydronic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safe work practices
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment documentation
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to continue learning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid driver's licence and a clean, insurable driving record
- Ability to reliably commute to Calgary or relocate before starting work
A Gasfitter Class A certification is considered a strong asset. Dual-ticketed applicants with a Gasfitter Class A certification will receive an additional premium on top of their hourly wage.
Advanced experience diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial boilers, hydronic heating systems, pumps, and controls is considered a strong asset and may qualify the successful applicant for a wage of up to $54.00 per hour.
