The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the compliance, quality, and safety of maintenance work performed on the company’s fleet. Under the supervision of the aircraft maintenance program manager, the aircraft maintenance inspector at Nolinor plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of aviation operations.

Responsibilities

Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated individuals hold appropriate licenses;
Approve and maintain weight and balance records, certificates of airworthiness, certificates of registration, and ensure their presence on board;
Supervise maintenance personnel training, perform work in progress inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures;
Monitor deferred defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work;
Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations;
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required skills

College Diploma (DEC) or College Studies Certificate (AEC) in aircraft maintenance;
M2 license and a minimum of 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance;
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pre-flight Mechanical Inspector in the aerospace industry.

Requirements

Autonomy, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities, and suppliers;
Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including an understanding of applicable standards and regulations;
Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections, paying attention to detail;
Capability to manage and maintain maintenance records in compliance with regulatory requirements;
Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation;
Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions in complex situations;
Commitment to safety and quality, with a deep understanding of aviation safety management systems.
