Our Client in the North York area (Hwy400 and Sheppard) is looking for Forklift Operators.
Shift: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
Pay: $24/hr
Duties:
Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklifts - Need to have at least 3-4 years of experience
Shipping/Receiving, Pick and Ship products, Offload carriers, Use an RF scanner and AS400, Cycle counts, Inventory.
Shipping activities: (70%)
- Pick and ship products according to Customer orders. Replenish pick locations to support picking process Palletize and shrink-wrap products for transportation
Receiving & Cycle Count: (20%)
--Offload carriers and verify quantities received against PO. Document discrepancies Verify quality of product and perform receiving in the system using RF scanner & AS400 Perform Cycle count as per schedule and as required using RF scanner Participate in the resolution of discrepancies
Housekeeping & Safety: 10%
Maintain a clean and safe work environment Process recyclable products as per established norms
Check and maintain Company equipment using assigned PPE Report safety concerns and participate
Orders to be picked and shipped within a very short timeline. Dealing with congestion and conflicting priorities.
Requirements:
Need to be fully certified on the Counterbalance and Reach forklifts
Need to be able to lift upto 50lbs
This job is Temp to Hire. Depending on your performance/attendance/punctuality and commitment to the job.
